Stevie, diplomas, birthdays, flow

I'm listening to Stevie Wonder. "Isn't She Lovely" to be exact. I just heard it in Stef's car this morning and I'd heard it today but I realized that I like it. It's got groove and I like singing along. I could just do without the baby crying at the beginning and ending of the song. But I love the sax. It makes me miss Jazz Band. Which is saying something since I really... didn't enjoy Jazz Band too much when experiencing it. Waking up, well not really I guess, I was late all the time. Anyway, music is just too good in general. I mean, the next song on my playlist is "I Feel Good" by James Brown and when I'm not feeling this good this song MAKES me feel good. I love the beat. I love the na na na na na na na's. It makes me smile. Especially since it is my new favorite dance on Just Dance 2. Yep. I own that game. And it's fantastic. I played Just Dance 2 for two hours yesterday. Alone. No one was dancing with me. But, believe me, it was completely okay. I just love playing that game. I prefer people with me, but the fact that I enjoy playing by myself as well speaks for the merit of this lovely game. On the topic of music, there's one thing I'm not too stoked about - I get to play in graduation. It's not that I don't like the songs we're playing (Battle Hymn of the Republic and Olympiada) because who doesn't love hitting the crash cymbals together a billion times in a row even though it kills your hands? That sounded sarcastic but I really do enjoy crashing some metal together. And in Olympiada I play the timpani and it's the funnest part I've had all year. It's also another one where I hit stuff as hard as I can. WOO! What I don't like is that instead of watching my sister walk across the stage and then sleep the rest of the time, I get to pay attention. At least I have to keep my eyes open.
And now we're on the subject of Liz. Well, not really, but graduation. AND LIZ IS CONNECTED TO THAT. She's graduating and this is scary slash really exciting for her! She's awesome. And she's getting that diploma with all sorts of flying colors. Liz really is one of the most important/amazing people in my life and I'm going to miss her so much. You can bet I'll be hanging around BYU next year :) I love that woman and as soon as some wonderful young man comes and tries to take her away from me... I guess I'll let him. If he realizes who she is and she loves him. Yeah, I'll let her be happy... not that I could really stop her if I wanted to. Now that she's graduating it brings home the fact that I'm going to be a senior next year... I'm so old!
Speaking of old, I'm 17. My birthday was on Tuesday. And can I just say that I am surrounded by absolutely lovely people? Well I just did! I got so many well wishes from people I love and just a special thanks to Laurel, Michaelah, Stefanie, Katrina, and Jen for all they did that day! AND what they did today! I was kidnapped. And driven around. Stefanie is usually a very safe driver but she was completely reckless this morning. I loved it though. I was a very good hostage; I provided the bandana so I couldn't see anything. And then we went to Jen's and had breakfast and it was lovely and thank you thank you thank you! I love you guys so much I'll make you a pie!
Now, in this post I wrote a pantload of "speaking of"s. Didn't that flow spectacularly well? It just was coming and coming and connections were being made and it was just so fun! Yep. I love writing and I love flow. Flow. Flow. Flow.

And the not so flow-y can go right here. I'm going to see Kung Fu Panda: the Kaboom of Doom today with my cousins - super psyched!!!!!!!! Hopefully the movie lives up to its name; Kaboom of Doom is super promising. And then tonight, tonight, it's a party on the rooftop top of the world. And besides that, I'm going to a Real Soccer game. I LOVE SOCCER! Plus, I drove an hour to see my cousin Izzy play and they were awesome. She was awesome. Her team dominated the field and they worked together really well and knew how to get position and it was beautiful. (That was a really long run-on sentence. No biggie.) They won 2-0 and I know that's not the most important thing but it's awesome nonetheless.

Commencing abrupt goodbye... BYE!
