Drowsy Chaperone

That show is fabulous. I want it to replay in my mind always. Right now. I will dream it. I insist on that.

"I can sing it high - Aldolpho
I can sing it low - Aldolpho
I can sing it very fast - Alo
I can sing it very slow...ly
(Spoken)
I'd do it now, but it would take hours."

"Now lest us see if you can remember my name.

DROWSY (Spoken)
I'll give it a shot.

ALDOLPHO
Now who's the fellow that you see?

DROWSY
Aldolpho

ALDOLPHO
And how should you refer to me?

DROWSY
Aldolpho

ALDOLPHO
And who is it I'll always be?

DROWSY
Aldolpho"

"Now let me spell it out for you
For all you lovely ladies that didn't hear for some reason
Because maybe you are... hard of hearing or something... I don't know
It goes A-A-A-A-A-A-L
DO - HO- HO-HO HO-HOL
F-F-F-F-F-FO

I am Aldolpho
Aldolpho"

"What is it about the Asians
That fascinates Caucasians?
What is it about the Asians
That's so nice?
What is it about Caucasians
That mystifies we Asians?
What is it about Caucasians that's so odd?"

"WHHHAAAATTT???"

"(cane drops) while you can.

MAN IN CHAIR
You have no idea how many times I've listened to that.

(cane drops) while you can.
(cane drops) while you can.

MAN IN CHAIR
Does she say 'Live while you can' or 'Leave while you can'. That's what you're thinking to yourself while you're standing at the altar... live or leave?"

Basically, Man in Chair is obsessed with musicals. He has all of them on records. His favorite is "The Drowsy Chaperone" and he takes us on the journey. The end is actually my favorite thing. Man in Chair listens to his Drowsy Chaperone record when he's blue, and in the end he gains the courage to say goodbye to this life he's made within this musical and step into the real world. His personal development is amazing in the short time they give him.
However, on the hilarious side, Aldolpho WHAT? is my favorite. He. Was. Hilarious.

The show was great. I want it to be a video. Funny. Funny. Funny.

Today was so great. Spiritual uplift from Conference and then this mood lift. Ah. Life is so wonderful.
So live. Don't leave. It's like what Man in Chair said, "It's better to have lived some than to have left."
