First thing I thought of when I said Thanksgiving - turkey
First thing I thought of when I said turkey - fowl
First thing I thought of when I said fowl - soccer
First thing I thought of when I said soccer - Stephen
First thing I thought of when I said Stephen - hog
First thing I thought of when I said hog - bovine.
Therefore, "bovine" is the title of this post.
Thanksgiving has been a magnificent interlude. All of my Hilton family was down. ALL... Minus one family. But they had their representatives. 3/11 people in their fam were there.
We had a house of 54 people. And 27 pies.
Done.
It was wonderful.
And to celebrate our thankfulness for our bodies and our health, we had a family fun run this morning. 5K. In the canyon. In the freezing cold. With winds of magnanimous MPH pushing against me all the way. And I loved it.
I always want to run in the canyon. This may be a convenient rule for any future interactions... I will only run in the canyon. You want to play tag? Let us travel to the canyon.
Swashbuckled. It's a board game. It takes forever. And it's really boring if you are never a pirate and can not attack anyone. I was never a pirate. I never got to attack anyone. It was boring.
But! I was able to dominate at pool today.
Still the queen of uno.
Let's play Dixit. For, I was reminded only a few hours ago that it is a delightful game.
My family is into games.
And movies. So we watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows II and Bourne Identity. Harry Potter is awesome; Matt Damon is a delicious dish.
And now, now I have to sleep. Sleep so that I can pack. Pack so that I can drive. Drive so that I can go to Disneyland.
So farewell all you wonderful people. I am going to go brave the 75 degree weather and the beaches and the palm trees. Wish me luck. Until we meet again, I will be in the land of the Mickey mouse.
You lucky child. Say hello to Eeyore for me. I love Eeyore.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I did the math. Each person had a half a pie. I approve of that ratio.
Love, me.
