Adventure is Out There!

Lately, I have enjoyed looking at ladies' blogs.
They're all so cute. Or interesting.
I watched Julie and Julia today; it features a blog.
I decide that blogs are wonderful things that can be used to document the monotonous/extremely fantastic moments of life. These two things are completely opposite; you may protest that they contradict one another.
Heck no, they do not. So why would anyone say that?
If you said that... go drink some cocoa so that you can't say things like that.

Tonight, something marvelous happened. My family and I went to a little piece of Paradise Falls. We got a private viewing of the UP house here in Utah. And it was simply wonderful.
It was a beastly feat to try and get up there. Everything went wrong that could have gone wrong. But when we made it, it felt so good. And I started singing the victorious song
Do0 doo doo-doo, doo doo doo-doo, doo doo doo-doo, doo doo doo doo doo doo doo-doo. You know the one.
That house is amazing.

And it reminded me of the point in the movie where you think all hope is lost. Russell is all alone in the big blimp thing and it's quite frightening... then here comes Carl, with his balloon house, and the music swells. That is one of my favorite parts of the movie. That part is pure magic for me.
That elated feeling I get at that point of the movie was with me through the entire course of walking through the house. Because it was almost like a piece of wonder was there in real life, right before my eyes. And, I guess it really was.

I must say, every time I think on it, I want to be like Carl and Ellie. I want to have fun. I want to work hard. I want to love for life, and to live for love.

One of the best moments of the evening: I became a member of the club. I now have my very own grape soda bottle cap pin. I will cherish it always.
