The Family that Dances, Pongs, and Creates together...

Today was one of the most bestest Family Home Evenings of my career thus far.
We played a wonderful new game called "Would You Rather...?" and it is delightful. There is an element of the game called "Would You Do It?" It is a challenge card. You have to choose and complete one of the activities to win the challenge.
My challenge: Dance for 30 seconds providing your own music by humming.
Challenge accepted.
The whole experience was quite short and kind of fun. However, it was filmed. And I have been told it will be used against me. But, what my black mailers did not anticipate is that, given the opportunity, I would show it to the world myself. For, I had fun!!

We now have a ping-pong table. I have only just taken a break from the brutal battle of pong between myself and my cousin. The victor has switched between us every single game. It was quite disconcerting. Let me expand on that thought. I thought I was horrendous at ping-pong. And then I won the first game. This was hot air that then entered my cranium and caused me to acquire the biggest head seen in the basement of my home. I was the queen. Until I was beat in the next match. Effective deflation.
I just heard this,
"Only one point behind."
"What was that word I just heard? BEHIND!" -Oliva, Liz
Come to my house and we will play some ping-pong.

This Christmas season we made some deliciousness. Wassail, pretzels, shortbread, pumpkin bread, toffee, poppy seed bread. I would show you pictures (I finally learned how to place the picture in the location I want in the post), but it was immediately devoured. And rightly so, lest our tummies be upset for they had not received the delectable dishes.

You are awesome. And I am happy to say I have not seen any fruitcakes this Christmas week. Neither cake nor human. I am content.

  1. I may have just spent 20 years of my life reading through your blog. It's quite delightful and I enjoy it, admire it and wish I could package it up and take it home with me.
