It is the first day of spring break. Did I wake with a purpose this morning? Was the desire to inspire in my heart? Were my actions all directed towards a better tomorrow? Yes to all of those.
Today success looked like this - waking up at a reasonable hour and doing the dishes for my beloved mother. Then going shopping with said beloved and my lovely sisters. From there I traveled to the park. My company: a blanket, iPod, chem book, The Great Gatsby, and lunch :) (note* try really hard not to fall asleep with your arm in the sun. It gets sunburned.) Afterward, I played the piano for quite some time (P.S. I got selected to play in the honors festival!! I'm so psyched!) and then had a delicious chat with the fam (minus David, he's with Maili). We looked around at cars and even took a new one for a spin. Then we picked up Cafe Rio, my first time, and that was very delicious. I still have 3/4 of mine left and I'm very happy for tomorrow. Currently, the fam is upstairs watching Tangled, but I watched that on Saturday, so here I am.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: I no longer own my house. I am very sad about this. We closed on Friday and it was made all official today. I'm going to miss that house desperately. We said goodbye on Sunday and I cried. Yep, I'm a wuss. But I don't really care because that's my house! I love it. And now it's not mine anymore. Oh well! I have a new house! And life moves on.
I'm going to make this week pretty much the best. Ever.
Caroline, you are the best! I love you and your blog...and Tangled is one spiffy movie...and I'm sorry you had to say goodbye to your beloved house.
