It is the sixth day. The last day. A sad day. Boo hoo. I think I'll be okay though. I mean, look at all those languages I just invested 2 minutes in. I'm doing things with my life.
I woke up early today! Well, the earliest this week. And I went to piano where I played the same song over and over and over. And now it's hard for me to love it as much as I used to. Isn't that how things go? You do something or are with something for so long you get bored with it or it turns completely evil! I really hope that doesn't happen with my future husband.
My family played tennis today. I am so flippin bad. I tried. And then, after getting no results, I just kinda stopped trying so hard. Guess what! That worked better. I actually was hitting the ball in the right direction and not 100 ft into the air when I didn't even care. Silly.
Then we went to Maceys. They have these huge doughnuts. I've seen them before, but each time it's just another shock. They are so big. Bigger than your face. Except with a hole in the middle. My bro wanted one. Dad said no. Bro insisted. I told him he'd get sick. Bro scoffed at me and said he was a growing boy. I laughed. That boy is growing. He's taller than me, even without his fro. Shoot dog.
I had a fun day at the park with Joslyn, Jessica, Deborah, Larissa, Jeff, Lance, Spencer, and Sami. We played the most awkward game. And then we played volleyball kinda... the boys were playing this intense game of ninja. Then came the adverb game. Someone went away, then the rest of us came up with an adverb. The banished person became unbanished and gave us situations that we had to act out using that adverb. It was kinda fun but it did get violent. Thank you Deb and Jess for pushing me around. And for breaking my crystal ball.
The rest of the day was just cleaning and homework. Blah.
I really don't know what I would have done without my notebook and a pencil and my variety of movies to choose from because all the things I imagined myself doing this evening just did not come to pass. But hey, maybe it's all a dream within a dream!
P.S. scriptures are the absolute best thing ever. I love them. Reading from them consistently brings great blessings. And the answers that are found in there are truly amazing. I love picking a chapter in the Bible and reading something really cool that I've never read before, or receiving an answer to a question I didn't know I had. But what is my favorite, is reading the Book of Mormon. That is an inspired book and I love it.
Haha sounds like a lot of fun! :) Oh, also here's my new blog. :)
